Gramin Mahila Vikas Sansthan

This project is targeted at empowerment of 1,020 members of 100 SHGs formed in 20 villages of Srinagar panchayat Samiti of Ajmer district. It aims at developing entrepreneurship among SHG members so they can identify their power and raise voice against social bad customs.

Objectives

• To impart education skill development training to women so they become aware of their rights, duties and responsibilities
• To impart income generation skill training to women members of SHGs so they can become capable of running small industries and gain success
• To develop communication and leadership among women
• To establish forums of different level to raise women’s issues at different levels
• To strive for betterment of livelihood of poor and backward class women so their lives may improve
• To form new self-help groups and establish their identity

Activities

• Income generation skill development training programme for economic empowerment of women
• Micro enterprise development training programme for economic empowerment of women
• Product related training for economic empowerment of women

• Skill development of SHG members
