National Child Labour Programme
The organisation is running three child labour schools for the last 15 years. Shrinagar panchayat samiti of Ajmer district is quite backward, both socially and economically. As a result, many parents send their children to work in hotels, restaurants, dhabas, looms, brick kilns, mines, etc., instead of schools. It becomes imperative that these children are removed from these industries and educated.
Identified children are removed from work and admitted to child labour schools, where they receive education up to fifth standard in three years and after this they are mainstreamed into formal schools. Along with education, the children are also imparted vocational training so they can develop necessary vocational skills.
