Reading room programme is underway in 18 primary and upper primary schools of Kekdi panchayat samiti and 24 similar schools of Bhinay panchayat samiti of Ajmer district

Objectives

• To inculcate habit of reading among children
• To develop language among children in a natural way
• To associate children with different entertainment activities and bring out requisite improvement in educational standards
• To build children into independent reader, reveal their constructive tendencies and provide them a platform
• To develop interest about books among children and develop understanding about language development in a natural way
• To give information about handover under third stage of libraries at school level
