Financial capability baseline survey of 1500 members associated with 150 women self-help groups is being done with financial support from GIZ and technical support from Centre for Micro Finance. This programme is being implemented in 13 villages of Sri Nagar and Silora panchayat Samiti.

Objectives

The main objectives are:

• To impart suggestion to SHG members on financial capability
• To link with government social security scheme
• To practice behaviour change with use of bank account
• To adopt micro insurance
• To promote judicious use of loan
• To plan for future
• To adopt family budget
• To increase participation of members in panchayati raj institutions
• To bring about change in skill
