Gramin Mahila Vikas Sansthan

Gramin Mahila Vikas Sansthan Secretary Shankar Singh Rawat bagged first position in state level SHGs bank linkages award instituted by National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD). The award was presented to him on the 36th foundation day celebration of NABARD in Jaipur. Rawat was given a memento and a certificate.

This award was given to us for extraordinary achievements in the field of self-help group bank linkages in the year of 2016-17. This award is playing the important role in encouraging us for overall rural development. Its credit goes to various agencies like NABARD, The Hans Foundation, New Delhi, Sir Ratan Tata Trust, Mumbai, Centre for Micro Finance, Jaipur, Rajasthan State Aids Control Society, Jaipur, etc., for their support in our rural development projects.

The chief guest of the function was Mr Ajay Singh Kilak, Cooperatives Minister, Rajasthan Government. Mr Abhay Kumar, IAS, Chief Secretary, Cooperative, Rajasthan Government; Mr Naveen Mahajan, IAS Chief Secretary, Panchayati Raj, Rajasthan Government; Mr AK Singh, Chief General Manager, NABARD; Mr NC Upreti, General Manager, Bank of Baroda; and Mr Arnab Roy, Regional Director Reserve Bank of India, Jaipur, also attended the programme.
