Gramin Mahila Vikas Sansthan Secretary Shankar Singh Rawat was honored with Bharat Excellence award, gold medal and certificate at a seminar on Economic Growth and National Unity organized by Friendship Forum on April 25, 2016 in New Delhi.

The chief guest at the function was the former Governor of Sikkim Randhir Singh.

Rawat received the award for outstanding and extraordinary achievements in chosen fields of activity and services rendered to promote greater friendship and India-International cooperation through overall rural development.

This award will encourage us in further betterment of our performance.
