Gramin Mahila Vikas Sansthan

Gramin Mahila Vikas Sansthan secretary Shankar Singh Rawat was honoured with Jewel of India Award 2016 for outstanding achievement in education, health, women empowerment and social service.

Rawat got the valuable award in National Seminar on “Outstanding Achievements” on April 6, 2016, in New Delhi. The Chief Guest of the function was Mr Joginder Singh, former Director of Central Bureau of Investigation.

Eminent personalities like Dr. Bhishma Narain Singh, former Governor and former Union minister, Dr GVG Krishnamurthy, former Election 
Commissioner of India, Mr OP Saxena, president of All India Lawyers Forum, and Mahan Vir Tulli, Indian Foreign Service (Retd.), graced the occasion.

GMVS received this award with the support of various funding agencies who gave us funds for rural prosperity. This award appreciates work of GMV for further development.
