Gramin Mahila Vikas Sansthan

Gramin Mahila Vikas Sansthan Chairman Anil Kumar Mathur and Secretary Shankar Singh Rawat were honoured with award and certificate in State Level Self Help Group Prize Distribution Function, NABARD Jaipur, for self help group formation and bank credit linkages on March 9, 2016, at Hotel Jaipur Palace, Tonk Road Jaipur.

The chief guest of the function was Ms. Sarita Arora, Chief General Manager, NABARD. She gave award and certificate to GMVS office-bearers. Rajasthan Livelihood State Mission Director Rajeev Thakur, General Manager Punjab National Bank Kalpana Gupta, General manager State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur Ramesh Aarya, SLBC Convener SK Arora, RBI Bank Regional Manager Arnav Roy and Zonal Head ICICI Bank Manoj Jaiswal were also present in the function.

GMVS got this award for playing the important role in the promotion and credit linkages of SHGs and in the overall rural development. This was possible only due to support of various funding agencies like NABARD, The Hans Foundation, New Delhi, Sir Ratan Tata Trust, Mumbai, and Centre for Micro Finance, Jaipur, etc.

This award will encourage us in promoting SHGs and their bank linkages and help empower millions of poor in the country.
