Gramin Mahila Vikas Sansthan

GMVS secretary Shankar Singh Rawat was honoured with Fame Excellence Award at the national level. He was given the award by the Foundation for Excellence Mass Environment, New Delhi, during a national level seminar and award function organised on December 13, 2015.

The chief guest of the funtion was Delhi Pradesh Congress President JP Agrawal. Also present at the function were former Member of Parliament BL Sharma and Delhi BHP State Spokesman Rajiv Babbar.

Rawat was given this award to honour him for his excellent work in education, health, natural resource management, microfinance, women empowerment, water management, goat rearing, women literacy, HIV/AIDS and financial capability sectors for the last 18 years in Sri Nagar, Silora, Kekri, Peesangan and Chittorgarh Panchayat Samitis of Ajmer district.
