Gramin Mahila Vikas Sansthan

Shankar Singh Rawat, Secretary of Gramin Mahila Vikas Sansthan, was honoured with National Excellence Award-2015 on February 22, 2015.

Mr VS Kokje, Senior Advocate, Supreme Court, and former Governor of Himachal Pradesh, and Mr Amit Thakar, National Convener Overseas Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and former National President of Bharatiya Janata Party Yuva Morcha (BJPYM), presented the award to Rawat at a glittering function.

The award was given to Rawat for excellent work done by GMVS for society in different fields like Education, Health, National Rural Livelihood Mission, Women Empowerment, Child Rights, Water Management, Goat Rearing, Micro finance, Women Literacy, etc., for the last 18 years in Ajmer district of Rajasthan.
